I went to a wedding in Mexico (bride was Mexican) a few years ago and it is traditional there to give buiscuits as favours.
I am sure they are not that expensive and can be brought locally. She had a mix of things in a clear plastic bag tied with ribbon
fans, i think it would be nice and the guests may be able to use them!
Sunglasses, coozies, candy? I guess think of something small enough people would be okay to bring back or not have to worry about bringing back. We did scratch off lottery tickets from the state the most people were from.
We are skipping favors and including these in the welcome bags, but one idea is a deck of cards (personalized). Then guests have something to do on the way back or during downtime. It works better if your guests are staying on the trip after the wedding not leading up to it.
Or, flip flops, sunglasses, maracas (double as escort card with tag), cool postcards, shot glass?
A little bag of legit Mexican candy would be cool. Tasty and something they probably haven’t had before. Those mini tequila bottles?
We are doing koozies.
I would say skip the favors and do something else with the money for yoru guests! Nobody will even miss them!
