…by my students throwing me an in class bachelorette party!
I’ve been feeling pretty good about my exercise and eating in the past few weeks, and haven’t really indulged to any great degree. My year 8 class shows up today with shortbread, cupcakes, chips & salsa, and coke and juice…at 9:50 am no less! They wanted to throw me a party for the wedding. SOOOO sweet, i almost cried – but then i ate 2 chocolate cupcakes, handfulls of chips and a piece of shortbread! I must be depriving myself cause as soon as i tasted the cupcake i plowed through the rest! Oh well – couldn’t disapoint the girls 😉

I would say you weren’t derailed, you just hit a bit of a speed bump.
That was so sweet of your class to do. Now you just get back on the wagon and do not use this an excuse to truly derail.
PS… now I want a cupcake.

Nah not derailed at all. Life isn’t about total deprivation and tomorrow you’ll get back on the wagon.
AND AWWWWW how sweet you must be a great teacher. Teachers are amazing and do a ton of hard work (says from a family of teachers)

That’s the sweetest thing I have ever heard. One day of snacking won’t kill you!

You’ll be fine. That was super sweet of them btw. A couple cupcakes is nothing!

Yeah I hope not! I figured it all to be about 400-600 calories (difficult to judge cause homemade cupcakes & shortbread), so i’ll make my 30 minute run a 50 minute run and hopefully that will do the trick 🙂
Yeah this class is the best, really lovely students!!!
