This is my first post and I would love some advice on my wedding shoes!! My fiance is only 2″ taller than me and I’m thinking of getting these ferragamo wedges that are 2″. If I get them we would be the same height. I was told that wearing wedges would give me better posture and would look better because I have a trumpet style wedding dress. However I don’t know if I would feel comfortable being the same height as my fiance. What do you bees think? Flats or wedges??

I don’t have the same problem (my Fiance is tallllll), but I need 2″ heels for my dress and I love the Sissis! I would buy them if I had a bigger budget! No questions!

I agree with you in the sense that having a heel – even just a little one – helps improve my posture, the way I hold myself, the way I walk and stand. In flats I just feel instantly more casual, which I don’t think you necessarily want for your wedding day. I think my heels will put me at the same height as Fiance, which is fine by me…plus you can always get your photographer to pose you guys in a way that he’s standing slightly above you (if the ground is slanted, or on a step).

Or both! I’m doing wedges for pictures and ceremony then flats for the reception.

Thank you for everyone’s responses! I am planning to change into flats for reception but I need to pick out a shoe now so I get can my dress altered to the right length.
