And maybe do things a little different?
We had a lot of Out of Town guests and the whole week before was hectic. The day of flew by and was also really hectic. I don’t feel like I really got to talk to all my guests and really ‘enjoy’ the night. I think because it went by so fast and i didnt realize it until it was over.
I’m probably just overanalyzing, but did anyone else feel this way?

I think a lot of newlyweds feel this way. So much time and effort is spent planning and it is over in a matter of hours. Hence the need for pictures!

@turtle62212: omg, yes. exactly. i felt like i barely had a chance to talk to everyone. it flew by so fast. i didn’t even have a chance to taste anything at our cocktail hour (1.5hrs). we had dinner and the next thing i know it’s last call.
it was a great night but i wish i could do it again in slow motion.

@mypinkshoes: I didn’t get to go to cocktail hour either!! That is one of the things that is bothering me. I’m really hoping all the pictures turn out great because I feel like we spend most of the night taking pictures and it took away from time I could have spent with family and guests.

@turtle62212: oh, i was at cocktail hour (pics were done prior to ceremony) but everyone was talking to me so i didn’t want to stuff my face. i ordered some really great hors d’ouvres too 🙁 then it took forever to get my bustle put up. thank god i was drinking while they were doing that.

@ mypinkshoes — same here, did eat at cocktail hour and I had only had breakfast on my wedding day.. And then it took a long time for them to bustle my dress. I just wish i could rewind the day.
