Hello.. not sure if this should be posted in the flowers section or the etiquette section but her is my question:
I am trying to get my flowers in order and I don’t know if my Future Father-In-Law and my father should have their bouts match my FH and I or the Bridesmaid or Best Man / Groomsmen… My flowers are calla lilies and my Bridesmaid or Best Man are tulips. My FH will have a calla and so will my son, who is walking me down the aisle. My Future Father-In-Law is marrying us…
Next.. what flowers do the mothers have and is it custom for them to have corsages?
All our flowers are DIY, so ANY help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

I am DIYing my flowers as well and have decided to do little nosegays for the moms and grandmothers instead of corsages because a) corsages are too prom-y and b) I don’t know how to make them! I’d say do the calla bouts for the dads because they are so easy to make and hold up well. Tulips can get droopy and droopy bouts look sad.

Thanks for the feedback!! We are going to go with the callies for the dad like stated above bc that was a good point about the tulips. The moms are thinking about no flowers actually …

I don’t think it matter if the father’s bouts match the others. You can do it anyway you want, but they should have bouts.
And it is customary that the mom’s have coursages. I’ve also seen the moms carry small nosegays/bouquets.
I actually got my mom and Mother-In-Law broaches instead of live flowers so they would have it as a keepsake.
I’ve attached a picture.
