Very new this this site so this is my first post – i am really hoping someone can help me! I love in NZ and my best friend who i have known since i was 4 yrs old is getting married in Ireland in a few weeks. Regreatfully i cant return for the wedding – a decision that was very hard. I really wanted to show my friend (the Bride) that although im not there for her special day i am thinking of her.
Has anyone got any suggests of anything i can send her leading up to or on the day of the wedding???
I would be really grateful for any help or advice – so far all i have come up with is a bunch of flowers on the week of her wedding whcih isnt very orginal.
Thanks in advance x

I made a friend a very personalized photo album with photos, descriptions of key events in our relationship, random memories, etc. leading up to “the big event.” It read like a story of our friendship & ended with her wedding day. I think the more sentimental & personal your gift, the more she will appreciate it. She probably knows it is tough for you not to be there.
On another note, you could have someone set up Skype or something so you could talk to her before she goes down the aisle or watch the ceremony live.

hi, thanks so much for taking the time to respond to my post. The scrap book idea is something i was going to be but our other close firend who is a brisdemaid is going to do that for the Bride and as we were all so close it would be just a repeated book. Do love this idea though…..any more are definitely welcomed 🙂
