I am trying to come up with some ideas for wedding gifts for our parents. I’d like to get them something sentimental and something they can maybe have around the house to remind them of the special day. I’d also rather give them gifts as couples rather then getting something for mum and something for dad. What have other peoples done/doing? Or does anyone have any ideas or seen things others have done that they liked??

Always the classic picture frame with a bride and groom photo at your wedding.

We did seperate gifts for our parents…I got my mom a Kate Spade 8×10 frame and plan on giving her a photo from the wedding for the frame, I also got my mom Kate Spade Mom idiom bracelet. For my dad I got him cuff links from etsy that say “Father of the Bride” on one and had a picture of me and him from when I was little and a tie clip. My Husband got his mom a Kate Spade frame, and he got his dad a wallet and set of tie clips.
You can’t go wrong with a nice picture frame 🙂

Did you do the same gifts for both sets of parents? My parents are paying for much more of the wedding than his parents so I feel like it’s nice to acknowledge that differently but is that just rude?

Darling Husband got his dad a new hunting knife, and my dad an engraved swiss army knive. I got both of our moms a necklace, but they were different.
Then we did an engraved frame from Things Remembered with our name and the wedding date on them – so they have something to put a picture in.
