When I was 15 my stepmom got me this for a gift.  It had my initials engraved on it.  It was really sweet.

I got my 2 step-daughters earrings and necklaces when their dad and I got married. They were 20 and 17 at the time.

We got a Tiffany necklace for our daughter for the ceremony.  She was 14 at the time.  My Darling Husband did not understand the need for it to be Tiffany but when the groomsman pulled out that blue box during the ceremony(we said vows to her too) the whole audience gasped. It was awesome.  She really loves it.  I chose a heart lock with a key.  It cost around $150.

I think a necklace or bracelet is perfect.
