If we have the money, I’m getting him a custom xbox controller. He’s a big nerd too and has wanted one for SO long.

I was thinking a GoPro Hero3. Should come in handy during the honeymoon but also for future travel, sports, and activities!

I’m getting Fiance a watch.  He wants a rose gold one, he’s convinced it looks like copper, not pink gold. haha

Trying to decide between an engraved flask, a bottle of nice scotch, cigars to share with his men, or a surprise trip later on this summer to Pitchfork fest in Chicago.

@phillybride61513:  I am giving my groom something that I saw on Pinterest. It is going to be a year of pre-paid dates… one per month. I split them into three categories: a) at home, (not expensive at all) dates, b) nearby, not too expensive dates, and c) out on the town, more expensive dates. For an example, one of the at home dates is going to be a backyard BBQ for just the two of us. We’ll get our favorite beers, grill up a ton of food, enjoy some smores, play cards and lay by the firepit and snuggle! I know it’s not the most creative, but it will be something to look forward to. Another example is he’s always wanted to go to the Philadelphia Rock Climbing Gym, so I’ll buy passes in advance (or a gift card if they have to be dated) and we’ll go rock climbing one afternoon.

I’m totally in love with my plan and have spent lots and lots of time working on it. Each date/month gets it’s own manilla envelope that he can open the month before, so we can agree on a day to do the date that works for us. Inside the envelope will be a letter explaining what the date is, and either gift cards or cash towards the date. That way, it’s prepaid!

We always have trouble finding times to do things, and I feel like we’re always saying “oh, lets go try this or that!” and we never do! This way, we’re getting a chance to do a bunch of things that we’ve always wanted to do. Also, it’s something that we can enjoy together. He doesn’t like cigars, doesn’t care for watches or cuff links. He’s not very materialistic, so I think this will be perfect. This is something that I know he will use, and its like getting a new “gift” each month to look forward to!

I CAN’T WAIT TO GIVE IT TO HIM!

Wow. I am really really impressed with some of your ideas! How creative!

I did the new modern standard of boudoir photos for him. I know he will LOVE them, though, so it was a good choice for him. They are in a cute little box, and I am planning on adding a special love letter. I also love the comic book idea.

So fun getting f’I gifts.  So his birthday is Sunday and I got him the Surface Pro…which I made him write up a wish list because he never ever “wants” anything and he’s hard to shop for.

So he thinks this is a great gift and also his wedding gift.

But it’s not…I made him a Wedding Advent Calendar for the month of June.  Each drawer has a little candy or note or trinket just for fun.

For the wedding day I got him an engraved pocket watch…which was the one thing he said he wanted a couple years back when I asked him to describe what he’d want to wear on his wedding day 🙂
