So I am trying to come up with an idea for wedding gifts for my mother and future mother in law. I really like the embroidered hankerchief idea that you see on Pinterest all the time, but I am still struggling with what else to get them to go along with it. So tell me what you are giving the moms! I need ideas!

I am struggling with this as well! We have hankerchiefs for the moms, but would really like something else to go with it. I have a few weeks, but need to figure it out soon!

I really really struggled with this for a while and wanted to do something nice and sentimental.
For parents we are just getting each set of parents a gift card to their favorite restaurant to have dinner together after the craziness of the wedding is over. My mom helped a lot (with DIY and emotionally) and I wanted to get her a little something special. I found a handmade wooden music box on etsy where you could choose a bunch of different songs. They had the song she used to sing me to sleep with when I was young. So i’m getting her that and it has “Mom” carved in the top. I know she’ll cry 😉
I was trying to think sentimental for my mom but the hankerchief may be enough sentimental for you?
Maybe a spa/mani/pedi gift card if they are in to that sort of thing?
I even thought about giving my mom a “girls day” together. Since I don’t live close by anymore I know she misses all the time we used to spend together so maybe a designated day for just you two (or three and include your Mother-In-Law if they get along!) that you plan and pay for and just enjoy being together?
This was one of the hardest gifts for me, so good luck!

Mizzbouvier14: I bought my mum a pair of white gold and aquamarine oval stud earrings, and then a silver, aquamarine and silver-coloured drusy pendant (her outfit was pale silver/grey so they went really nicely with it and she wore them on the day), plus her favourite chocolates. We also bought my parents tickets to the opera; I’ll be going with them and will also be treating them to dinner and champagne.
I think it’s nice to get something personal/individual to them, rather than more generic gifts, but that’s just me 🙂

We will provide them with wedding albums (after the wedding)

sumshine.dawn: I LOVE that!!!!!!!
barbie86: Yeah, maybe a night out for each of them on seperate occassions. That sounds like a really good idea. I will have to run that by Fiance. 🙂
thelittleone: I am doing that as well! But I am giving them as Christmas gifts this year.

Mill: That is a good idea. My mom isnt so much into spas, but I think a girls day sounds great. Any excuse to go do a little shopping, drink wine and eat out is always acceptable for me!
