Just a tip for anyone who is searching for a dream dress but doesn’t have thousands to spend on it…
I found my dream dress because I went to a high end shop, had my mother and the shopkeeper choose dresses for me, and I chose just one dress for myself. I tried it on first and tried on maybe 30 other at different stores. The only one I felt comfortable in was the one I had first chosen. It was way out of my budget, so I offered to buy the sample in cash from the high end store for a much lower price and they agreed. Higher end stores won’t leave dresses on the shelves to be tried on until they are unwearable, and they do need to sell them at some point while they are in season. My dress was purchased for nearly $500 less than the tag price and was still in season. I am lucky and fit into sample size (usually size 6-12 usual dress size and 8-14 wedding gown size) and the only alterations needed will be drycleaning and very slight alterations which won’t cost more than $50.
I hope that helps!
