Men are not always the best wedding dress pickers or clothes in general lol! IDK how many times Fiance has told me he hated this or that until he saw it on me (because I was sure as hell still buying it!) and he didn’t even recognize it! LOL!

I love it – and it looks really good on you!  I would stick with it.  Don’t tell your Fiance.  When he sees you, he won’t be looking at your dress – JUST you!!  🙂

At the end of the day, you regardless of which dress you pick, you will still be married!!

I lovelovelove that dress on you! Your Fiance is not going to be thinking about how much he hates memaid dresses when he sees you in it, he’s going to be thinking about you and how awesome you look 😉

You look amazing in that dress. I LOVE IT. And do not be deterred by what your Fiance has said. Most likely his vision of mermaid and ruffles is over-the-top and nothing like your dress. Once he sees you in it, he’s going to love it!

Do YOU like it? Regadless of what your parents said?

If so, then rock it! And don’t worry about your Fiance, men think they know how certain dresses/veils look and make blanket statments, but trust me, on the day of your wedding he will love it.

Now for my opinion, I think you look great & the dress hits in all the right spots!

Beautiful hon!  I had so much doubt about what to wear and I guarantee you… he would have loved whatever I picked.  You look amazing!

You don’t sound like you’re very happy with the dress…. These statements are red flags to me “My parents convinced me that this dress looks good on me” and “I feel like my hips are a bit to big for it. I think it makes me look larger rather than make me look smaller.”

So, to me that says that the issue here is that you don’t like the dress and you think your Fiance won’t either. You sound like you are uncomfortable in it and aren’t happy with the way you look. Personally, that makes me say that you should look into buying a new one.
