Rather than have it wrap around the lace up, can you continue it around from the embellishment thats already on the front? For me, both of the ones you made had a little bit too much going on.

Don’t mind my awesome Paint skills but yeah I like the idea of continuing the bead from the front down from the waist/hip, not at thick down the skirt, a little less defined, and then it can get a little heavier on the bottom.  Sort of like this

Now those paint skills are on point. . . And I adore the look of the crystal flow on the dress.
