Wedding guest appropriate??

I wouldn’t have cared if you wore it to my wedding, but that being said this is pretty much a textbook example of what not to wear to a wedding, from an etiquette standpoint.

I don’t get these posts – if you have to ask the question, why not just wear something else? Why risk offending the bride? If I wore something like that to a wedding I think I’d spend the entire evening feeling self conscious that people were judging me for it, and the fact that you’re posting this question on here makes me think you would too! So I would pick something else.

UGH THIS THREAD IS SUCH A RELIEF. Normally I feel like I’m one of the solitary voices saying “this is too much white” while it feels like everyone else on this site is like “nah no one will mistake you for the bride.” So nice to add to a unanimous decision!

No. Too much white. Find something else.
