To me it looks okay but then again I can’t speak for everyone else. Maybe just wear a different colored dress if you are doubtful? Vicky2 :

I personally would be fine with it, but agree with PP that if you’re doubtful pick something else.

I heard some great advice on this topic a while back. If the dress you want to wear would come up when selecting ‘white’ as the colour of the dress/outfit when searching for a dress online then you probably shouldn’t wear it.

For my personal opinion, it is too white and I would probably be mildly offended if it was my wedding. There are so many colors to choose from it really shouldn’t be hard to find something that isn’t white.

Vicky2 :  It’s fine, it’s not bridal at all. But, if you’re worried just wear a different dress without any white.

I agree that it’s a bit too white. It also may be too casual, depending on the formality of the wedding itself.

It’s not a white dress.

It’s fine.  Anyone who would be offended by it is looking for a reason to be offended.

Vicky2 :  I think it should be fine, but if you have doubts I wouldn’t. I personally wasn’t offended with my aunt wearing an all ivory dress to my wedding. Everyone is different though

If we were talking about a polka dot ball gown, I would say wear something else. But it’s non bridal and I would describe it as a black print dress so you’re probably fine. I get easily offended when it comes to dresscodes and even I think it’s 100% acceptable.

Vicky2 :  It is an abstract polka dot dress; such an interesting print! If the wedding is not formal, do wear it with confidence.

Vicky2 :  Personally if I was another guest at the wedding I would think it was a little rude. It is a print but white is still the main colour.

It’s fine, if it’s not too casual for the wedding in question
