I would pick a silver bolero or something like that. I would not want to clash with the bride in the pictures. White and white does not always photograph well.

The last 2 weddings I attended the grooms and grooms men were in white tuxedos. Can’t see what the big fuss is over a white blazer in a church. I say wear your blazer, I think the guests know who the bride is.

The dress you chose already looks attention grabbing with the sparkles, I’d play it down a bit with a black cropped blazer or something.

White blazers, well, I don’t think it takes away from the bride or anything, but I wouldn’t risk it… not worth it to make the bride and other people think, “why did she wear white, couldn’t she find another blazer in a different color?” (and on top of that, over a sparkly dress…)

Two people wore ivory dresses at my wedding and my dress was ivory, i didnt really notice on the day and in the photos it doesnt bother me, there nothing like wedding dresses.

I’d ask the bride if she cares!

I would not mind if I were the bride, but go with what she feels

I wouldn’t wear a blazer over that dress.  A constructed blazer over a soft wired skirt will look odd.  Go for something softer, less structured.  Maybe a pashima or sweater.  (And they you can pick a different color if you want…black or silver would look good.)

I think it’s fine.
