I’ve always known since I was little how I wanted my hair.  Sit back, close your eyes and picture yourself on your wedding day and how you want to look 🙂

I made a Pinterest board of the hair styles I liked and then chose my favorite a few weeks before my trial. I knew I wanted a controlled updo because of the serious wind on the beach in FL in March, and I wanted something modern and just slightly trndy, which right now means intigrating braids. I chose when with braids that aren’t super obvious as braids, so that there’s a touch of that modern trend without being super dateable. Since I didn’t want a veil, I definitely wanted flowers in my hair, so I chose something that would accommodate that. I also wanted something that would allow a bit of a sidepart at the front since that looks best on me, and I wanted something that would have a little bit of volume at the crown, but just a bit.

Don’t have any pictures here on my work computer. I pretty much knew that I wanted my hair up with a side swept bang… something a little more sophisticated than a ponytail. My hair was similiar to mrssonthebeach in the back, but with a side swept bang. I was looking at pictures on google images and kept coming back to the same style over and over again. I didn’t even do a trial, just trusted the person who has done my hair in the past. She knew what I was going for and I totally trusted her. She flew in the day of the wedding and hooked it up.

@ForeverBlessed:  I can understand your concern considering my hair is HORRIBLE with humidity.  I’m sure there may be ways to prevent it with products and hairspray!  I’d talk to your stylist.

@mdglass:  =) I should’ve put my inspiration!  It’s a picture I found on pinterest so it’s the only angle I’ve come across.  It is a gorgeous hairstyle though.

Date twin!!! I also want my hair down, mostly because I ALWAYS wear my hair down (or in a messy bun, but that’s only for outings with my daughter beach-park-zoo, whatever)

I would have a trial of a half up/half down. The reception venue will be air conditioned anyway, so the heat won’t affect you as much 🙂

What color hair do you have? Do you have any pics of you in your dress? that might help with some inspiration. I think there are some hairstyles that look better on blonds, some that look better on brunettes, etc.
