@navywifenmoore:  what about your hair side swept?  i think it’s very pretty.  or the sides pinned back?  how long is your hair?

@navywifenmoore:  I have the same wedding theme! and a pretty basic dress. Anyway I have originally wanted a low side braid like fishtail or something but changed my mind but you may like it

I agree with the above pictures, something half up and half down possibly a little curly would be super cute.  Nice natural makeup would compliment that.

@navywifenmoore:  I would suggest wearing some makeup, but don’t go overboard because you won’t be comfortable.

Waterproof mascara is a must. Maybe some brown or grey eyeliner to define your eyes without looking too heavy. Maybe some tinted moisturizer or a light foundation. A pretty pink lip gloss. Keep in mind that most brides wear heavier makeup than usual to do photos.. so it probably is a good idea to wear at least *some* makeup. I’d skip the lipstick as it’s heavy and can rub off on your teeth etc. if you’re not used to it.

Unless you’re really not used to doing makeup yourself, you probably could do the above without the help of a professional. I find makeup artists tend to overdo it when it comes to makeup. Like a “natural look” would end up being more makeup than I’ve worn in my life! So you need to be VERY specific if you hire a pro. And if there’s a feature you don’t like (you say your nose – they could do some contouring to make it appear smaller) like bags under your eyes or something they could help I am sure.

As far as your hair goes, you probably should get it professionally done as it’ll probably be easier than doing your own. You can’t go wrong w. loose waves IMO. It would look really cute with your theme. You could do it half up as the previous poster suggested.

I don’t like wearing my hair up either but I feel like I have to in order for it still look good after 12 hours of wear (doesn’t hold curl or body). So I’m going to probably do a low, loose updo maybe even to the side so my head doesn’t look all flat and slicked back with no hair on it. Something to keep in mind maybe if your trial hair falls flat too quickly?
