I’m trying to locate some wedding hair styles for short hair. I have a bob and I want a reto looking style. I love the styles of the 1920s – 40s.
If you have short hair, I’d love to see your wedding photos showing your creative do. Even better if you used a vintage style.
So, please post your short hair wedding photos here!

Hey DesertChild- I moved the post for you and here are some images I found from a quick Google Image search for ‘short hair vintage style’
Also- check out http://www.offbeatbrides.com- a lot of their featured brides used retro styles.

Thanks, Rosy….I hadn’t seen these during my search. I like the bottom left one and the one just above it!
Since my wedding is in Paris, I can’t really have a trial hair appointment with the stylist who is going to do my hair, so I’m just going to have my local hair stylist try a few of these styles and take photos and bring whichever ones I like with me. Hopefully my French stylist will speak English and can do such styles!

DesertChild–I am sure your hair will look great, I love these styles. I just wanted to share with you my sister’s experience, though, so you can be even more prepared. My sister wanted a style very similar to the one on the bottom left (I think she called them finger curls or something?). Anyway, she did not have the opportunity to do a trial run either, and on the day of her wedding, the stylist admitted that she had not done any styles like that since she went through cosmetology school! It turned out okay (it definitely could have been better, but my sis thought it was fine), but it was pretty stressful for all involved. So I guess when you book your appointment, it would be a good idea to talk about the exact style you’re looking for, to make sure you get a stylist who can help you get the right look.
Btw, I am so jealous you’re getting married in Paris! I think we’re going to try to go for part of our honeymoon… but seriously–to get married in Paris? Amazing!

I went to Paris in 2004 with my best friend from college. I was single at the time and remember thinking that the place was so romantic and I was bummed that I didn’t have a boyfriend to share it with at the time. I met my Fiance 3 years later and he proposed in December. When discussing what we wanted to do and agreed that we didn’t want a big wedding, so I said "I’d love to get married in Paris" and he said "Sounds great! Let’s do it!" Is it any wonder I’m marrying the man?
Anyway, I have someone in Paris helping secure my hairstylist, make-up artist and dinner restaurant. I’ll be sure to mention that she should check to make sure the hairstylist has recent experience with the fingercurls and pin curl techniques. Thanks for the advice!
