I personally LOVE the back (LOVE IT).  Maybe instead of having the front piece pinned back, have a wavy curl framing your face.  Are you wearing a veil?  That will change the look a lot as well.  Honestly, I really like it!

I love it!  I think if you have a veil you should try it with that, as that will definitely “spruce” it up.  Or maybe you can get hair flowers like in the picture?

I LOVE the back, I also like kitzy’s idea about putting a braid, maybe a flower and I’d see too how it all looks with your veil that could make a difference.

I love the back!  I also agree with Kitzy on the braid, I think that would look great together with the current updo.

Not sure how you feel about the “bump it” look, but I plan on having a low updo like yours, but with a lot more volume on the top…i think it just adds something more to the look from the front as well! Yours is very pretty though! I think if you added a flower and a veil you would feel a lot less “plain Jane” as you said.

In the picture below, you can see what im talking about with the volume on up top and the hair gathered near the neck.

More volume on top, and add a flower! Or, have the bun off to one side. I had an updo very similar to yours, actually, and the flower made the look.

Sure, here you go. 🙂 All I have are amateur pics at the moment.

Ignore the wrinkle of neck/chin fat in that last one. ;P

I also love the back of your hair, it is beautiful. I think adding a braid like kitzy said is also very pretty, I don’t think I could pull it off though. I would go with coleerenee’s suggestion, I think that is just perfect!

Def ask for more volume on top, and I love either the braid or flower idea! The braid would be perfect if you’re doing a veil, but if there’s no veil do the flower! You will be beautiful on your day 🙂
