I paid for 7 people including myself….4 BMs and our moms.

My hair and makeup was $310 and it was $210 each for everyone else.

My grand total was $3,400 since I also had 2 trials, tattoo coverups, return hair service and an early morning start.

ktrv927 :  Here are my pricings using a senior artist in Pasadena, California! Since my bridal party was tiny, I decided to pay for both my and my two bridesmaids makeup/hair.

Bride (399) – both hair and makeup, airbrushing included. Trial was credited back towards this fee.

Bridesmaid or Best Man (130 each) – both hair and makeup

Also had to pay travel fees since the mileage was a bit far.

I’m paying about $250.00 for my hair and makeup including trials. I let my girls decide if they want to do their own hair or makeup just because I’m not picky about that. $80 for hair and $66 (including travel fees) for makeup. and I have 3 little girls getting makeup done at $15 each.

I’ve been collecting quotes from hair and makeup artists for my wedding next summer. The most affordable quote I’ve gotten is $300 for bridal hair and makeup, $100 for each bridesmaid’s hair, and $100 for each bridesmaid’s makeup. I am considering paying for all of my bridesmaids.
We are getting married in a really pricey destination town, so most of the prices I’ve gotten were a bit higher than this (like $150 for hair and $150 for makeup for each bridesmaid and around $400 for bridal).

I paid 400 for myself, trial included, and then my bridesmaids were 150 each for hair and makeup. One bridesmaid did just hair for 85, and my mom did just hair and it was 75. I let my bridesmaids decide whether or not they wanted hair and makeup, We had 3 people full hair and makeup, 2 people just hair. I found these prices to be reasonable in the Portland, OR area

I am paying $65 for my hair trial, and will then pay between $65 and $85 on my wedding day depending on what I decide after the trial. I am not paying for other people to get their hair done, it is completely up to them if they chose to do so.

My makeup application is $65, which includes a trial for everyone to select colors in advance. I am paying for my mom, my Maid/Matron of Honor (sister) and Future Sister-In-Law to get their makeup done in addition to myself.

I am not having vendors come to where I am getting ready. I have an early appointment at the hair salon, followed by a make up appointment at a close by make up place. Both are a short distance from my mom’s house, where I plan on putting on my dress etc.

ktrv927 :  Goodness! I got a deal compared to the prices here!! My only regret is that I didn’t book my hair to be an onsite appointment. I went to the salon for an extra early appointment, and my hair dresser was late which put everything behind.

I would spend the extra money to have them onsite.

Cost breakdown:

Wedding Hair Trial – Opted out $0

Wedding Day Hair – $85

Wedding Day Makeup $55 Bridal + $10 travel free

Attendants Makekup $55 each (and one person for $25 that wanted basic makeup)

Total people getting hair done with me – 0 (everybody did their own hair)

Total people getting makeup done with me – 5

I am paying for my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup just because I know they’ve all been in weddings before and have mentioned how they stress out about the DIY aspect of the hair and makeup, and I dind’t want anyone to be stressed morning of 🙂  FIY I have 7 BM/MOH, and also my mom and Future Mother-In-Law will be getting their hair and makeup done!

Hair and makeup will both be done on site

Hair: $50 per person. Free and unlimited hair trials for me. It’s our family friend who has cut and styled our hair (mine, my sister’s, and my parent’s) since I was born, so she cut us a really nice deal.

$155 for my makeup, including trial, false lashes, etc.

$65 for everyone else (BM/s, MOG, MOB, etc.)

$125 for second MUA since I have a big wedding party

ktrv927 :  My cousin is a cosmotologist, so she is actually doing my hair and makeup for free. And my bridesmaids are doing their own hair and makeup. I’m glad to be keeping it simple, and saving money.

I’m glad I found this. I was about to cancel this MUA. LOL!! laughing

I’m eloping and I found a MUA charging $124 – includes makeup $70; travel and early morning charge $54. I thought that was too much but I guess in the grand scheme of things it’s about what others are paying.
