That seems like a reasonable price I suppose, but it’s another one of those things that unless you know your bridesmaids would really love a personalized hanger, it’s kind of either a waste of money or a gift for yourself since YOU want the photo op.

I didn’t end up getting them for the girls because of what PP said. But I did order one for myself from etsy and LOVED it. I also ordered one for my best friend whose wedding is next month, as a shower gift. She too loved it:)

@mrszrobe:  Yeah, I think as long as you have a good mix of stuff it’s cool.  I was a bridesmaid where our “gift” was jewelery that bride wanted us to wear in the wedding and little clutches she wanted us to carry instead of bouquets – in yellow.  My LEAST favourite colour.  So kinda like… wow, a lot of thought went into picking the perfect gift for yourself…

Are you kidding, those are lovely gifts!  No wait-I am kidding! Wink

I try to inform other brides on here but they mostly ignore me.  Can’t see past their wedding day, I guess.  Good for you OP, for thinking of them!!  Your bridesmaids will appreciate that.

@mrszrobe:  That is a great price for those! I made some for my BMs and gave them out when I asked them to be in the wedding. I will admit, I made them because I wanted them for the photo op! I’m excited to use them.

You still have a year…why not try makin them? I made mine over the course of about 8 months (6 bridesmaids plus myself). It was such a feeling of accomplishment and I was so proud to give them to the girls (they got other gifts too…this was just a bonus I gave them at the bachelorette party). They absolutely loved them, and when they found out I MADE them they were beyond thrilled.

It took a bit of trial and error but it is totally do-able!

You can definitely make them! I made 6 for my girls and it cost me about $20 total. It took me about two nights-

My husband drilled the holes for me and I used needle nose pliers with electrical tape around the tips so it wouldn’t dent the wire. Very easy and very cheap.

@OoOTifsterOoO:  I love that you made them in 2 nights!!!

It took me at least a few hours per each girl. I’m a bit OCD though so I obv took longer than necessary but I could only handle doing one at a time then I needed a break for a week or two haha! It ended up taking about 8 months before I finished them all. Probs could have done them in 2 weeks if I worked on them everyday lol

@OoOTifsterOoO:  Those look awesome! What gauge wire did you use? Any tips for those who want to make it on their own?
