i am fairly new and I have to say loving alll the posts going back and forth! My question for you lot is whether you feel themes are overdone?
i am getting married next year, now we’ve started the planing I just don’t have a clue where to go with it!
I fell in love with these centerpieces as they tie in so well with my SO and I
any help would be greatly appreciated

to met that says old vintage. i personally love that theme! I dont mind themes and I had an art deco / vintage inspired theme but I dont think I over did it. I just went with what I loved!

Thanks I know I thought I would just roll with it and see what happens. I don’t want to stick whole heartedly to a theme cause sometimes I find them a bit overkill!
I I can see why going with a theme is useful! I just don’t know where to start 😂😝

I don’t think themes are overdone, as long as the theme is subtle. We had a ‘wood and wine’ theme with our wedding and I thought it turned out really well. The key to a successful themed wedding is to pick only a few things that display the theme, then have everything else just complement it. That way your theme isn’t like “BAM IN YOUR FACE”. It’s even better if the theme reflects your personalities/relationship, which it sounds like yours does!
