When I was in my mother’s second marriage, she made me wear falsies (I was 12) which ofcourse fell out on the dance floor. Lol

At my sister’s wedding the Dj played ‘dancing queen’ which was on the grooms DO NOT PLAY ON PAIN OF DEATH list. Apparently Dancing Queen in the Royal Canadian Navy = Navy buddies taking all their clothes off?? Either way, it’s ‘tradition’ and the groom, a few groomsmen and a few guests ended up shortless on the dance floor. (whoops! that was supposed to say SHIRTLESS).

More recently at a friends wedding the ‘young’ crowd got out of hand and were dancing like sleazy bar hoppers/strippers (minus the stripping…but barely).

Also more recently at a wedding, the groom (6ft tall) decided to swing dance with his friend (5 foot nothing). It was more OMG you guys are capable of that/entertaining than moronic though. Oh and when I say swing dancing, it was more like tango, meets swing, meets Olympic couples ice skating..but at a wedding.. and it was two guys. lol.

At one of the weddings I went to the bride and her bridesmaids got up on the bar during the night and started dancing like they were at a night club and began flashing everyone. The groom proceeded to “go for the garter” and gave us all a MAJOR public display of affection right then and there….OMG! I felt extremely embarrassed for witnessing this! GET A ROOM! The bride had a pitcher of beer in her hand for the rest of the night (which kept getting refilled) and got ridiculously drunk…I dont blame her. haha

Our wedding idiot I guess is one of our groomsmen.  He was drunk before the ceremony started.  He was a mess during the formal pictures and our photog had to yell at him.  Then in our lil private cocktail hour he started to cry (like a little girl) because he felt bad for being so ridiculous.  And, at the reception he tried to participate in the impromptu ‘dance off’ but he was so off.  Ugh!

Hmm.. the closest thing we had to a wedding idiot that I know about is a couple who got in a big fight b/c the girlfriend was mad that they still weren’t engaged. From what I hear she only stayed for part of the dinner then went up to their room to sulk.

Oh, at a wedding we just went to one of our friends missed the WHOLE thing because he decided to sleep in that morning. He lives in Boston and the wedding was in NYC, he had worked late the night before, woke up and left his apartment as the wedding was starting! We had to keep lying to the groom who noticed there was an empty seat, but finally he showed up right after dessert was served. Idiot!

My Fiance brother is notorious for being a wedding idiot, at his younger brothers he caught the garter and thought it was a head band and put it on his head and ran around the reception hall and got mad when he found out he couldn’t keep it and had to put it on the girl that caught the bouquet, only becasue he couldn’t keep wearing it as a sweatband (mind you he’s 30) Then at my Fiance sisters wedding he was in the wedding party as well and ended up an hour late for the reception because there was two wedding receptions going and he went into the reception that wasn’t his sisters and stayed for a good hour before he realized he knew nobody there and that the wedding he was at was actually for an indian couple who were having a some what traditonal indian wedding.
