- Wedding: November 2011
My wedding is in a week (yup! not kidding), and if you’ve read any of my previous posts, I’m having two nights of ceremonies at the same venue, because my Fiance is hindu and we’re having both ceremonies.
We’re trying to keep costs low (laughable at this point), so originally I had the brilliant idea of using the same tablecloths for both nights. We bought tablecloths rather than renting from the venue since it was actually cheaper to buy and we’re hoping to resell. I did buy enough napkins to have fresh napkins the second night, but I was hoping the tablecloths would be clean enough to do a few spot cleans if necessary and re-use. But the week before….I have been panicking. I’m very worried about the food (we’re having indian food, so everything is in a sauce/gravy) spilling and staining the tablecloths.
SO I want to rush order some more for the second night. The problem is… They are out of all the choices I want. So the only choices I have left are below…
For reference, this is our venue:
Our colors are dark red and gold, and for the first night we have dark red pintuck tablecloths. For both nights, we are using gold chargers, and gold/burgundy centerpieces. I already have chair ties in dark red. So if I have chair ties at all for the second night, they will still be dark red.
First night tables will look kind of like this (not that centerpiece):
The only choices I have now for the second night (to be used with the gold chargers and gold rimmed plates):
The cheapest option are “satin” tablecloths at only $180 for all of them:
The next most expensive are these in champagne (if I want to do something different for the second night) at $247 for all:
Then there are these pinch wheel linens in dark red for $270 for all:
And finally, my favorite, but also the most expensive, the sequined red at $300 for all:
Fiance is sick with a 102 degree fever and can’t muster the will to care…but I need to decide ASAP so I can rush order these. What do the bees think? HELP!
