ce0168 :  It’s normal to be stressed when your dress is not ready as promised.

You said:

“We want our dresses in our cupboards like a week oyt from the wedding… dont we.”

Luckily for you, she said it would be ready next week- a week before your wedding.

You don’t really have many options. If it’s not ready, it’s not ready.

I got my dress on Wednesday before leaving for my wedding on Friday – it was originally supposed to be ready two weeks beforehand. At least she’s not rushing the work, and you still have another week after when she’s getting it to you.

My friends seamstress had it ready a few days before her wedding. She was stressed, but it did end up being ready and looking lovely.

If she doesn’t respond, call and explain that you are a very punctual person and it’s really stressing you out not having your dress this close. Do it calmly and nicely and hopefully she will reassure you and move up the timeline if she can.

Or tell her that her reimbursement goes down by 50 dollars every day she’s late (kidding!!).

Either way, forgive your friend. She was trying to calm you down. You’re stressed and taking it out on her to an extent.
