Hi girls, i’m in a panic about my dress, is it too big, is there too much train, is it out of date arrrgggggghhhhh
I did this about a year ago (had my dress for 18months!) and i talked myself out of buying a replacement cos i thought i loved mine so much but i keep looking at pics of me in it thinking somethings not quite right! Any advice on how to get over this ‘wobble’ would be sooooooo handy right now!!
this last pic is hideous!

Your dress is so so beautiful! It isn’t dated at all. I don’t even know how you could second guess yourslef with a dress like that.

Timeless and classic. With hair and makeup done it will be perfect. Good choice.

I think it’s a beautiful dress and it fits you perfectly! Don’t worry so much. He’ll love you in it. 🙂

Your dress is stunning and you are crazy. CRAZY!
It has that classic look to it, but also the interesting folding to make it unique. I love it and it fits you beautifully.

You’re all really kind, i see so many lace, fish tail etc dresses and worry mine is a bit dated, you’ve made me feel much better though 🙂

I think the last pic is the best, you see the whole look! Very pretty! I like the detail of the rouching and I think the hairpiece gives it a modern touch. Not dated at all!

@mrspells2be: my advice is to stop looking at your dress and any pictures of your dress. Period. I was doing the same thing and it was tearing me up inside so I had to stop thinking about it altogether–focus on your accessories or how beautiful they are while reminding yourself that “this is normal and I bought this dress for a reason. I love my dress.” I’m actually more at peace with it now. It was so scary to put it on at my first fitting because I hated it so much but now I’m actually excited. Woo hoo!!

@mrspells2be: Wow! You look grogeous! Honestly, I think you’re overanalyzing. No dress is P-E-R-F-E-C-T. The more you stare and overanalyze the more little “flaws” you’re going to find (“flaws” which no one else is going to be able to see because they will not have spent so much time staring at your dress because they’ve never seen it before!) Also, you’ve got TWO WEEKS so you definitely can’t get a different dress.
I would say, stop staring at the dress. Take at least a day off. After you’ve taken some time off, go back and look at the dress. Remember what it is you loved about it. Even if it’s something you can’t see, like you saved money on it by buying a sample, I don’t know, anything, remember why you bought that dress and stick with it. You are going to look beautiful and amazing on your day! Start thinking those positive thoughts and exuding confidence!

I can’t tell you how to feel, but you LOOK gorgeous, the dress appears to fit you perfectly, and proportion of the train looks just right for this dress. You really look stunning – I love the detail on the front! I think you’re not at all going to regret this decision the day of or when you get the photos back. You’re only seeing the flaws but we can see how gorgeous you are in that dress!

Oh no! I love your dress! I just saw it in the “blingy dress” post and meant to comment on how beautiful it is!!

um you look like a freaking princess – how’s that? and not in a tutu tiara way – like an honest to goodness member of royalty!
you are so beautiful and it fits you like a glove! your dress is incredibly elegant, the fabric looks so luxurious and it’s got detail without being busy and distracting from you – it’s going to be amazing on the day!
