Help!! I’m getting married a week on Saturday and am having a dress crisis!!
I already own both dresses but I don’t know which one to wear!! I already have a Pucci evening gown to change into so there is no point in wearing both!
I love this dress, but over the last few months I have struggled with my weight trying to fit in it, especially over the butt. I’ve been worried that as those buttons do not have a zip as well, they may pop halfway down the aisle!! I really do love this dress from the back, but I’m unsure about where it creases in the front – it isnt so flattering.
This dress is also a total pain to get on and off (because of the buttons) and is not too comfortable
This dress I think is more slimming from the front, but makes me look wider from the back. I am remvoing the top 2 ruffles to make it more slim-lined, and also adding a belt made out of the same material at my waist.
I keep on second guessing whether this dress looks as nice as the other one – it is much more comfortable and easy to move in. I’m also slightly unsure over the colour – I mentioned buying it to my fiance and described it as not white and he seemed pretty taken aback.
Any help / feedback would be really helpful – not too long to decide!!

@bence: I’m for the second one. Will you be getting it altered? It feels like its sitting a little low on you.

I personally like the first one. And bling it up with some jewelry and maybe a belt.

I love dress 2!! If it were me, I’d go for the one that I felt most comfortable in. The last thing you want to be doing all day is worrying about whether your buttons have popped!!
With the top 2 ruffles gone I think it will look stunning (It’s already lovely, but I think it will show off that amazing figure you have a little more!!). I also think you look very slim in both of them though.
In regards to the colour, remember that the picture your fiance will have painted from the discription you’ve given will be nothing like what the dress actually looks like. I actually like the fact that the dress isn’t pure white.

I think you look lovely in the first dress, which is a bit more sophisticated and chic! What jewels and accessories are you planning? But eek, just how uncomfortable is it?

Dress # 2 is much prettier and flows much nicer on you!

Thanks so much everyone for the feedback – it is really helpful!
@pengoala: Yes I am getting it altered – I think it also isn’t looking it’s best because I didnt put it on very well – it’s very off centre too!
@bluebelle23: I am wearing very bling jewellery whichever dress i wear 🙂
@SoontoBEEmrsclarke: Thanks for the compliements 🙂 I think I am just overthinking everything!! I think it looks white enough that it is clearly a wedding dress and
Probably part of the issue is I am overthinking it because there was a big big difference in price btween the dresses – the first I got at a sample sale and was 1000 GBP whereas the second I got at TK Maxx for just 200 GBP – I know it’s really silly to judge it by that!

@bence: Wow, what a steal! 🙂

I prefer the second one. Hope you have a lovely day 🙂

@mmle: I’m wearing a large diamond necklace, and also have a diamante hairpiece (which I think I wont wear because I don’t want to be too bling!)
I will also probably wear a fur jacket if it is still as cold as it has been in the UK recently!!
I would say it is about 6 / 10 unconfortable – I think I would worry about it less if I hadnt not been able to fit in it 3 weeks ago – a lot of the discomfort is probably in my mind!!

I like the second dress, but I do agree something about it isn’t sitting right. Def. needs altered or something.

I love the 2nd. To me, it needs a mermaid crinoline, a built in bra to give your top a boost and you’ll be good to go. 🙂

@bence: I think dress 1 would be much more flattering on you with a blinged out belt and some cute jewelry. I personally am a bigger fan of Dress 2 because I think it drapes better on you! But you ultimately have to choose the one you are most comfortable with and makes you feel beautiful! 🙂

I Don’t like the 1st one on you. You look better in the second. I agree about the alterations you want to have.
I can’t wait to see your recap
