@smiles4jo:  sometimes some etsy sellers will have “ready to ship” items. What kind of veil are you looking for? I don’t mind helping with the search 🙂 David’s Bridal usually sells veils straight from the store, too. ]

ETA: Oh, type, and budget 🙂

Alot of “hole in the wall” dress shops just have a few in every color to sell of the rack

If David’s Bridal does not work out, definitely try etsy. I got my veil in about a week and a half. Most sellers do rush orders as well.

I want to say I paid $250 for mine but I had to order it in a champagne color and it had crystals on it. If you REALLY really need to stay under $100 and you have a white dress then check out Hobby Lobby (if you have one around you)…..I had a friend buy this one:

She had to steam it so it would get all the wrinkles out but it looked great!

Are you at all crafty?  If you want something simple then it can be made in as little as an afternoon.  A cathedral length veil is typically 108″.  You’ll need 3.5 yards (may have to buy 4 yards or shorten length a bit) of material, some thread, and a hair comb (and even this is optional).  That shouldn’t cost more than $20.   I made mine and can give you some tips if you decide to go that way.

If you’re not wanting to take this on as a project then check out Websites like oncewed.com or recycledbride.com.

I had mine custom made by Occansey Designs.  They can ship as soon as a week.  Highly recommend!

@Sugaree:  I made my cathedral length veil!  It was gorgeous!  And super easy to do!

I just bought mine from this website:

My wedding is November 3 so hopefully I like it! It seems like they have a TON of options so maybe check it out. Plus they are way cheaper than a bridal salon (which is why it took me so long to buy one)
