It’s definitely unusual, but I actually really like it.  I think your names should be a bit larger though to balance it out.

I’m not crazy about the split text

I like where you’re going, and I like things that push the envelope a bit.  The two columns need to connect somehow. Right now, to me,  it looks like it should be folded in half like a greeting card. Maybe add a second font and see what happens if you keep the left hand side where it is and align the right hand side with the bottom and your names centered in the middle? 6:15 I think would be considered evening, not afternoon?

I like the format of the link that is there, if that’s the look you’re going for, but not of the image you’ve uploaded.  I think you can do much better, easily!

I like the idea you’re going for, but the formatting as it is right now doesn’t flow. How about something like this?

You want to have a format that makes it easy for the eye to follow while giving the information in the correct order. Good luck!

    Etiquette Snob here… lol

The wording is fine, the format / layout a bit distorted… (as in hard on the eye)… much prefer the option that @HisMoon: offered up…

Traditional Wording, Modern / Contemporary format… the best of both worlds.

I like what HisMoon suggested. Another idea could be to push the left column of text further to the left, the right column further to the right, and pop you names in the middle. Then center the whole thing so it’s located half way down the paper. If what I said doesnt make sense, look at HisMoon’s mock-up then imagine the right column of text moved up to the level of your names and the left column of text moved down to the level of your names. Then adjust a little so it’s not cramped. I don’t have computer access for a few days so I can’t give you a mock-up 🙁
