my parents are hosting the wedding, so on the invitation you are not supposed to list the brides last name – only the first and middle
what happens if my middle name is my moms maiden name? do i list this? it looks like a last name since it is!

It will look fine since you will only have two names listed, not three. I wouldn’t worry about it so much!

Hmm… maybe in that case you might want to list your first, middle, and last names. I put my last name on my wedding invitation even though my parents were hosting. My parents each have their own last names, and mine is a hyphenated combination of both of their last names. I also don’t have a middle name, so this made the most sense in my case…

I put my full name too. My mom has a different last name and I feel like it sounds like I’m a child if it just says Sarah Elizabeth…
But I don’t think it matters a whole lot either way, so pick what you think looks best.

My middle is mom’s maiden as well, so I put my whole name. I think its weird when the bride just has first and middle but the groom has his whole name listed.
