I’m looking for some advice on wedding invitations please,
I am getting married in Jamaica next Feb and have verbally invited the people that I would like to be there. Most have booked the flights and hotel now but my question is….
Do I need to send invitations just as a formality or is that silly?
We are nit having a reception when we get home as we have agreed that the people who will be there are the people we want to share our day with.
Anyway what do you all think as my fiancé doesn’t have a clue either lol!xx

Yes you should still send out invites.

I’d still send out invitations to make it “official.” 🙂

I think you should send invitations. My SIL was married in Jamaica and she verbally told everyone about it almost a year in advance but she still sent invitations a couple of months before. It makes it feel more like it’s really a wedding and not just a party in Jamaica. 😛

I think formal invitations are a good idea to make sure that everyone has all the wedding info. Also, you and even some family members maay like having the invitations a keepsake.

Yes, a wedding is still a formal event, so I think you should definitely send invitiations still! I’d be really confused if I booked flights for a wedding but never got an actual invitiation…
