- Wedding: July 2012
Well I’ve been happily married for just over 6 months now and we have just received all our wedding photos so I thought I would take some time to post photos of details as I was always looking for details and photos of things I wanted at our wedding on this website before I got married so hopefully this will be useful to some brides to be.
Here is a summary of our wedding but out of 1500 photos, there are a lot more that I would love to share than these select “few”:
and here is a “trailer” made by our videographer
This post is on our invites. Since it was a destination wedding, Darling Husband had the marvelous idea to make them look like boarding passes so we found a template online and designed them on photoshop. We made the whole thing look like one of those envelopes that tickets go in and we made a monoogram that looked like a stamp. We went to some scrapbooking stores and found the paper we liked but since it was ridiculously expsinve to buy paper for 350 invites, we wrote down the codes of the paper and serached for it online and got it for a fraction of the price.
Because we had guests that were traveling and guests that weren’t (the wedding was in Greece but I have tons of family over there) it didnt make sense to give the Greeks boarding pass ones so we made another style of invites to send to the Greeks. In both sets of invites we included an engagemt photo that included the wedding date and stucka a little magnet on the back so that guests could remember the date. So here are the invites;
