How good are you at DIY? Can you post a few pictures of the styles you like?

I was able to replicate invitations that cost $7/each on Etsy for $2/each myself, bought all the materials through Cards & Pockets. But I am very good at DIY crafts, have plenty of time and patience, and also do some minor graphic design so I could create the inserts/print myself.

Vistaprint seems popular. Especially if you search for cupon codes.

Okay, SWEET. Those can be done cheaply if you do the design yourself and have a good paper trimmer. All you really need is white cardstock for printing the text on, the blue sparkly backing to mat on, ribbon, envelopes, and some good paper glue (I suggest Zip Dry for any white paper).

I could easily do those for $1.50 each or less. But it really depends on your level of comfort with paper crafting.

we are doing ours from visaprint they run groupon or living social all the time, ours will end up being (incl shipping to us) $14.00 for 100 with envelopes 🙂 not bad! but the DIY ones might be less too, havent really priced it out that way since we didnt really have a nice cutter and I’m not real crafty :/

We ordered our save the dates and invitations from Wedding Paper Divas. They have coupon codes ALL the time! Their products are beautiful and customer service is amazing. I think our invitations came to about $3.30 each.

What is your budget and how many do you need to send? I got my semi DIY kit at Michaels for super cheap.

Cards&Pockets might have cards and mats pre-cut for you.  So all you would need to do is print them out and glue/tape the card to the mat.
