Etiquette says not to include them.

Nope. Well you’re not “supposed” to. Our registry info was just given by word of mouth when people asked and in the shower invites that my girls sent out.

I’ve gotten invites where they enclose a “business card” with the couple’s website listed. The site generally includes registry info, directions, times, hotel accomodations, transportation, etc.

@FutureHarp: Yep, I understand. Same thing with the question “so are you excited for the wedding?” lol. Make sure all of your parents/bridal party know so they can help spread the word too so you don’t have to so much. Or if it’s easier for you to add it in your invite, do whatever you feel, it’s your wedding right?! Smile

@FutureHarp: Having to answer where you’re registered multiple times is the price you pay for accepting all those lovely gifts 🙂

Etiquete says you are not supposed to, but it all depends on you, your family, the people you are inviting and even your area of residence. In my area (SLC, UT) it is perfectly acceptable to include registry information with the invitation, and it is appreciated. Ask some of your friends and family if it would offend them or think it gift grabby if you include the information. If most say they don’t think it appropriate, then there’s your answer.

I didn’t include them, however, on the Hotel information card for where we have a room block…. on the bottom of the card I said…

***For additional hotel information for other locations and details about our wedding, please visit our wedding website***

Then I listed our wedding website which has our registry info on there :o)

I’m not going to. I am including our wedding website address on the RSVP card, and if I have a registry, I’ll put it on that website.

No. That info is spread via word of mouth by your parents, bridesmaids, etc. You don’t volunteer that information to anyone because they are smart enough to find out on their own. However some people believe that proper etiquette does not apply to them or anyone else in this day and age (which is not true at all) and include it in the invites anyway.
