If you want to do custom invites – I HIGHLY rec’d my invite designer, Diane Lamendola http://www.aninvitationstudio.com

She did our save the dates, invites, menus, table #’s…etc.  She was so great to work with and I was thrilled with the end product.  Our save the dates and invites are on her website (Cindy & Jon).  Also – see reviews on projectwedding.com

Good luck!

I second Mrs. Bee’s suggestions, and I would add ABCD Designs Bespoke:

http://bespokestationery.com

as well as Atelier Isabey:

http://www.atelierisabey.com

and Greenwich Letterpress:

http://www.greenwichletterpress.com

They are all fun, funky, and fresh, and expensive.  My fiance and are considering designing something ourselves and then having them letterpressed at Print Icon on 18th Street between 5th and 6th to save money.  (I’ve read a few negative reviews about having Print Icon print a diy-design, so it may be safer to go with a professional designer if you can afford it.)

Hope that helps.

You might want to check some of the links on the Brooklyn Bride blog. She has tons of links for stationers many of whom are based in NY.
