It does look a bit odd. She should be able to fix it though, I can’t imagine that being a hard fix. I would call her asap.

I didn’t notice anything until you said something. I think the straps should be placed further out on your bust, like more towards your armpits. But like I said, I didn’t see that until I read that you had a problem with it.

@saffy:  Is the dress zipped or closed in the back? I ask because it looks too large in the upper portion on the sides (near your armpits). I also agree about the straps. She should be able to fix these things quickly.

@LiliKitty:  Agreed. The straps need to placed further apart.

Just went and looked at the production pics and it looks like your seamstress  took the bust in from the middle and not the edges?

The more i look at it… the more i think the halter needs to go. Do you need the straps to hold the dress up?

I agree with Vandykins. Did you ask the seamstress to bring in the bust from the middle, because that would explain why the straps are narrower.

It does look a bit odd, but I wouldnt’a noticed if you didn’t say anything. If you can wear it without.. Wear it without.. There’s a thread somewhere out there about having a seamstress take one or 2 of the top loops out of a corset and it resolves the back fat issue (I know I have it!) I’ll see if I can’t find it and post again 🙂

Hmm… i don’t think you can tuck them since they are position right over your breats and it’d prolly get itchy !  I’d get it into a tailor asap and have them removed. For free if its the same tailor who did this.
