Is it a big deal to not have something borrowed for your wedding? A few people had told me that you normally use something of your grandmother’s or mothers. However, all my grandparents as well as my mother are passed away so I’m kind of stumped.

Your something borrowed could be from a woman you admire or look up too.

You can borrow something from anyone. My sister borrowed some nail polish from her hair dresser for her wedding! It was her something blue too!

I borrowed a decorative pen for the guest book. It can be anything!

@JacobsMama: borrow your fiances grandma for during the wedding. Tell her yours has passed, and ask her to be the honorary grandma for you. Your something borrowed. 🙂

Maybe a little something from one of your bridesmaids? A hankie to carry? A friend’s hair pin?

It’s definitely NOT a big deal at all! I almost didn’t have something borrowed, but then my mom offered to let me borrow the bracelet that I gave her as a wedding gift the night before the wedding, lol!
