My wedding is on August 6th, and I’d love some last minute advice from you all! Anything from beauty tips to last minute things to remember would be greatly appreciated. And just tell me about your big day! I’m so excited! (:

Get your hair and makeup done first!

- Wedding: September 2015 - Hotel Ballroom
-Go to your hair and makeup appointment in a button down top so you don’t risk messing yourself up while you change into your dress.
-If you are able to purchase any of the cosmetics used on you, get the lipstick and a shine powder so you can touch yourself up through your big day/night.
-Splurge on nude, embellishment-free undergarments and try them on under your wedding dress beforehand in VERY good lighting to make sure you can’t see them through your dress (I got burned by this mistake…but fortunatly caught if before I walked down the aisle).
-Eat a proper breakfast on your wedding day.
-Bring AT LEAST one spare pair of pantyhose so you can swap then out if you get a hole or run in them.

Just relax and enjoy the day. Something will go wrong, I promise you that…but it will make for a good story later. And seriously you won’t be able to do anything about it so it’s a waste of your energy worrying about stuff that might go “wrong”. Just enjoy it!

Ahhh so is mine!! I’m so nervous!

Chapstick! My lips got so dried out from stress, the heat, and exhaustion that I was constantly noticing them. Last thing you want is pain during all those pictures. Stay hydrated, and get some sleep! I napped a lot that week, I didn’t want to look haggard!

Take a minute just you and your groom to get away from everyone and soak up the day. I went upstairs to change my shoes and my husband came with me and we just spent 10 minutes in our hotel room grinning like idiots and saying we couldnt believe we’d done it 🙂

Make sure you can wear your shoes.
Take a water bottle. The best man brought one for me and held it all day. I needed it.

Bring bandaids and double-sided tape just in case. Especially bandaids if you’re wearing new shoes!

Eat in the morning! And don’t sweat the small stuff it really won’t matter in the end. I spent so long worrying about little details and you know what I couldn’t have given a monkey about them on the day.
