Up until two days before our wedding the forecast was supposed to be mid-80’s and sunny.  On our wedding day, it was raining cats & dogs.  We didn’t have to decide until the morning of whether or not to move things inside, so don’t stress about it!  I thought I’d be heartbroken, as I really REALLY wanted to get married outside in the gardens by this really pretty pond… oh well!  Ya know what, that morning I got to the venue & the coordinator said the ground would be too wet & I was like “Ok, move it inside then” cool as a cucumber.  I wasn’t stressed, disappointed, or upset at all.  I was just so happy to finally be getting married!

No worries lady!  You are in Colorado, where it’s sunny while it snows!  So even if it’s going to be chilly, it will be gorgeous!  Everything will work out fine!

I would leave it outside.  People are going to realize that its cooler out and will dress accordingly.  In all honestly I would be stoaked its going to be a bit cooler.  No one wants to sit outside in the heat! As long as its not going to rain you are in the clear!

Set up a back up indoor space now so you aren’t stuck scrounging last minute. Don’t make the switch official until closer to thursday, the forecast could still change. Congrats on your upcoming wedding.

I think a 55-degree day sounds heavenly after the summer we’ve had! It’s still extremely comfortable outside. If I were a guest at your wedding and it was 55 degrees, I’d be delighted at the excuse to wear a nice wrap or pashmina, and my Fiance would be happy because he wouldn’t be overheated in his suit coat.

And, besides, as PPs said, the forecast can definitely change over the next few days anyway. It’s totally out of your control in any event, so try not to do any needless worrying. (Easier said than done, I know.)

oh i think 55 sounds lovely! There seems to be so much excitement about fall and relief from hot air, I think people will be fine…as long as it is not raining I wouldn’t move it ๐Ÿ™‚

55 is perfect!!  I would be so excited to be at an outside wedding with that temp.

I’m from Fort Collins and I would much prefer 55 degrees than 90! I just checked and on weather.com, it’s up to 59 for Littleton on Thursday. Everyone will be fine, they can bring a light jacket and it will have that “it’s becoming fall” feeling in the air and everyone will love it!

Gotta agree that 55 sounds really nice. You’ll have that wonderful, crisp fall feel.
