Today I went shopping for wedding night/honeymoon lingerie and to my dismay, it was impossible to find anything in my size (38C) in Victoria’s Secret! I’m from a smallish city so that’s the only lingerie place that I know of around here, though I also checked out some department stores like Macys and Kohls, to no avail. So then I decided I’d just buy something off Victoria’s Secret website, but alas, they don’t even sell 38C on their website! I guess I never knew it was such a rare size? Makes me feel like a whale even though I know I’m not! So I ended up buying something off of the Fredricks of Hollywood website. Hopefully it fits and I don’t look like a fool; this is really the type of item that I like to try on before buying!
Any other wedding lingerie woes out there??

Here! I’m a 32DD, and have a time finding that cup size. Usually, I just find a night gown, but then I end up too tall for them!

Forget Victoria’s Secret! Their stuff is overpriced and poor quality anyway, even if you are one of the small percentage of people who fit in it. Try going in there and asking for my size: 32G- people look at me like I’m some sort of alien when I tell them that!
The good news is you should be able to find stuff in that size online easy enough. And if it doesn’t fit quite right, well you won’t be wearing it that long anyway 😉 Try figleaves.com, fredericks.com, lanebryant.com, herroom.com, and kohls.com. They all have great stuff in less typical sizes. Also, if you look for things that don’t have cups or a seam under the bust they are more forgiving fit-wise.

I was actually told that a 36C fits like a 34D, so they say that if you can go up or down on the number, you can go up or down on the letter too. I usually wear the 36C but my Mom bought be a 34D and it fit perfectly, even though I didn’t think it would. To my avid approval, it worked! If they have a 36D, you should give it a try.

If you’re a 34A, you apparently under no circumstances want a sexy bra. I learned this from ages 14-19, then I finally began to fit into B’s. I’m losing weight again, and I think my boobies might be shrinking away too…which means when it comes time to search for honeymoon lingerie, I’ll be back in “DEAR GOD CAN I PLEASE JUST HAVE SOME LACE GOD FORBID I ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE INTERESTING OR SEXIER” territory. Not all 34A’s are preteens! >:(
Good luck with your search, hope you find something that works. Have you looked online? barenecessities.com has a great selection. Looks like they have 564 bras in size 38C: http://www.barenecessities.com/catalog.aspx?nxs=31&size=986&style=&vendor=

Are there stores in nearby areas that you can make a daytrip of? That is not a rare size at all. You can find it at Lane Bryant, etc. Even Walmart carries it.
That is a huge misconception that you can fit into different cup sizes aka a 38C being the equivalent of 34D. If you aren’t able to find the correct size, and most women in the world are wearing the incorrect size, then keep looking until you do find it because it does exist.

@Veganglam – YES! I agree! I’m technically a 32A, but that is literally almost IMPOSSIBLE to find anywhere! It’s so frustrating!

I would be careful about going to a 34D instead of a 36C. It might seem to fit but you need to make sure that it truly fits. The band size is the size of your ribcage and shouldn’t change. Have you been officially fitted by someone at a store (a high end department store is better than going to VS). I hope you find some sexy things online! A lot of places have great return policies so you can send back things that you don’t like.

IF your just looking for the “wear it for 15 min” kind and don’t have to do anything in it before takeing it off I tend to think Target and Walmart are good for that! I got a super cute baby doll for the wedding night for $20 at Target (im a 40d) and they had a whole bunch of styles of cute bra’s and rumble panties. I have had good luck in the past at Walmart for this kind of “nightwear” too.
