When else in your life can or will you wear a veil – I always vote for veil!

I’m not a fan of the trim on the veil in your photo. A plain veil would look great.

If you don’t want to wear the veil then don’t. I wish I’d stuck to my guns and not worn a veil, it was a pain and I couldn’t wait to take it out. I prefer my pictures where I’m not wearing a veil. It’s how comfortable you are. If you think you might regret not wearing a veil then go with the plain one, otherwise go no veil.

Totally agree with loz24  about going with what you feel comfortable with!  If you don’t like the trim one, definitely don’t wear it.  I’m sure a plain one looks fine, but if you don’t love it… why would you wear it??

The bride looks bridal because she is THE BRIDE, not because of an accessory, or even a dress, if that is what you are worried about.  Also, ask your hair and makeup people what they think, they will be helping with the whole look.  I’m not sure where a veil would fit with your hair inspiration pictures.

Your earings are BEAUTIFUL, by the way.

I voted for the satin border because I think the picture that you had it on looks great! You look really lovely in that dress btw! But if you really prefer not to have a border, just do what you really have in mind! 🙂

They can totally put the veil comb over the messy bun- or just underneath it. You just have to tell them that you plan on having one.

Me personally… I think the fingertip veil cuts you in a weird place (with the dress desisgn) and it doesn’t seem wide enough. I say (IF) you have the option to look at plain cathedral veils. It’ll connect with your dress easier and usually those are wide enough if you want to pull around your shoulders, etc. I don’t mean wide because you’re plus size, I mean it gives a fuller look and more intentional and tends to look more expensive-even if it’s not.  It’ll give a much more glamourous but understated effect. Just a simple 1 tier is all you need and you can buy a cheapo from Etsy.

Apparently with flower crowns “drop veils” are the new rage too!

tallahasseelassie – a cathedral length one would look incredible and just blend perfectly into your train <3
