Your wedding is so far away , over a year and a half, after all , that l think you can successfully fob her off. Maybe say vaguely you might even do it yourself… you’re not sure yet etc . Certainly you can fob off particular styles like winged eyeliner. I mean who  knows what will fashionable when you are actually having it done .
Don’t let yourself be railroaded into decisions yet, like bridesmaids, dresses etc.

It’s so early just kind of stop bringing it up for awhile. And then you can casually say your mom or fiancé or someone gifted you a MUA, or that you don’t want her working on your wedding day and you decided to hire someone. Offer her to do your makeup for your Bach?

This shouldn’t be that hard and doesn’t really require elaborate excuses.  Just tell her you appriciate the offer but no, you want to hire out since its an opportunity to really pamper yourself as well as the rest of the wedding party and you don’t want your Maid/Matron of Honor to be distracted with other duties. Simple and true.

If she raises the subject, tell her you decided that you would rather have her support as the Maid/Matron of Honor than as your MUA, and that you have already hired someone.

I wouldn’t mix friendship with wedding duties such as makeup…anything and everything can happen and it could ruin your relationship.

I would simply tell her ” you are extremely special to me and I want you to enjoy yourself and have a blast at my wedding” and then maybe offer to pay for her makeup since she’s part of your wedding party as a treat.

Ok I would definitely phrase it as above that you want her to relax and not worry about schedules on the wedding day.

Also will say as someone who also gets really bad sinus/hay fever problems that a professional is the way to go. I had sinus on my wedding day and my makeup artist ending up redoing my nose area later after my meditation kicked in differently to allow for it.

Pushiness = lack of respect for your autonomy and decision-making.

I really hate that shit and if she won’t take your graceful “no” as an answer, then give it to her straight and let the chips fall as they may. She sounds obnoxious.

Pushiness = lack of respect for your autonomy and decision-making. It’s controlling tendencies disguised as help/concern/etc. YUCK.
