Hey! Recently I have undergone facelift surgery from the breast & tummy tuck centre in Windsor ( http://www.breastandtummytuck.com/procedures/faceliftneck-lift/ ). The swelling and bruising have almost gone. I’m looking for some good makeup for my marriage but I just want to know if there will be any allergic reaction? I’m not allergic to any kind of makeup products but I haven’t applied any makeup after facelift surgery.

Ask your doctor how long to wait before applying makeup.

None of us can advise on whether you’ll have an allergic reaction but if you’re looking for a full coverage, whether to cover any bruising or scarring or just because, I highly recommend Estee Lauder’s Double Wear.
Ooh. Have I just been had by a spam artist??

To be frank I’m worried about my scars. It is not that noticeable but still you know it’s a big day and I don’t want to ruin it.
By the way, what made you think I’m spam?
Anyways thanks. I will try Estee Lauder’s Double Wear 🙂

Amazing Concealer is the best thing since sliced bread. It hides all my melasma and provides full coverage.Â

vee1980 : Oooh can you tell me more about this product please? I too suffer from melasma and not even Estée Lauder Double Wear will cover it during the summer months! Thank you 🙂

inav32 : Sorry OP, I was perhaps a bit quick off the mark. It was the link that did it. Plenty of creative spamming goes on here, it must be making me a bit cynical in my old age 😉
AFAIK you can get three formulations of Double Wear. The original is full coverage but there is also a Light version and a Maximum Cover Camoflague one which is meant to be seriously heavy duty. The latter may be more suitable for post-surgery use but please double check with your clinic.

There is a canadian brand called Cover FX it has an amazing colour selection to match most skin tones light, mediterreanian and black. The line was first created to be used on people who have scarring or pigmentation issues. Its a great brand.
They carry it at some Sephora locations.
