I’m thinking of using my signature Lincoln Park After Dark (verrry dark plum) for my upcoming wedding but it seems like all of my recently married friends had a french manicure. So I’m wondering what everyone else is planning on/what color you used for your wedding.. 🙂

It pains me (I love dark purple nail polish) but I’m probably going with a nude-y pink color like ballet slippers. I don’t want my nails to stand out too much in the pictures. I’m prob going blue on my toes though.

@rachiecakes: That’s a great color (gotta love OPI!). If you like it, it makes you happy and you’re comfortable with it, wear it on the wedding day!

If you love that nail polish and it is really “you”, I say go for it! If you want something more timeless though, go for a pale pink or a french manicure.

wear what you love! i’m personally not a huge fan of french manicures so i’m wearing a winey-red color for my wedding. something classic.

I am doing what LGenz is doing. I am going to use a sheer ballerina slipper pink for my nails. And I saw pictures in a wedding magazine of Tiffany blue nail polish and I’m using that for my toes.

ooh I like the idea of Tiffany blue toes!
I think staying true to myself wins here 🙂 Even if I do look back and go “what was I thinking?!” haha

I didn’t wear any polish at our wedding, went natural. 🙂

I love deep purple nail shades, but didn’t want my nails to “stand out”, so I had a french manicure. I wanted my nails to blend in. But if you really want that shade, then go for it! I think many women now are doing bright and dark shades for their weddings. 🙂

Doing french on the hands, but bright pink or bright blue on the toes!

I agree I might do a nice sheer shade on my fingers. 🙂

I prefer American manicure cause it looks very natural. But go for whatever you want, if you love color then go for it!

I say, do what you want! Don’t worry about what others are doing 🙂

I personally love French and thats what I’m having. I think its classic and bridal. But I think it also depends on the wedding. Ive seen alot of 50’s style dresses with cute short red fingernails. I think that looks lovely too!

It’s kind of weird but I want to do black–I know those will stand out in pictures, though, so I might end up with sheer/pink. I go back and forth!
