- Wedding: May 2011
Here’s the scoop. I always pictured myself walking down the aisle to a beautiful song that I was so in love with. I want to have a grand entrance…yes, a grand one, I will only be a bride for 1 day.
So I am getting married in a Catholic church and I am not Catholic. I am having an impossible time finding music that sounds good. Music is a huge part of my life but I took this classical music class in college that I HATED and I really think that class ruined my taste for anything classical…big problem, because the church will only permit music that is religious or classical in nature…I am stumped. I talked with the church music coordinator, and the string trio we hired and Im not really happy with any of their suggestions…
Anyone have a similar problem? Anyone suggest some religious music selections that can be played by a string trio?
Disclaimer: I do not want Canon in D, Trumpet Voluntary, or any of the water music.
Please help 🙁 wedding is 6 weeks away..!!
