You could have the traditional music for the ceremony and have the other songs at the reception.

@linsoid:  If you’re getting married in a church make sure they are okay with your selections (some limit music to certain songs or classical music only.)  Otherwise, do whatever makes you happy.  I am walking down to “Wherever You Will Go” version by Charlene Soraia.  It’s so pretty.  FI and I tear up just listening to it.

It depends–where are you getting married?

Some churches don’t allow more modern or secular music.

I think I would go for the traditional music in a church, or nontraditional music anywhere else!
