I am trying to think through how I should get my nalis done for my wedding. I am medium to dark brown and have short nails. I get a manicure once every 304 weeks- but I don’t typically wear a lot of color. My dress is tea length and ivory colored with a wisteria bow.
I was wondering if I should do a french manicure OR should I do a hint or color- like light lavender… Any suggestions are appreciated!

Most brides get french tips. So I’m trying NOT to do this.
I saw one bride with red nails and it looked really nice.
I’d probably either do clear or colored tips.

Because french is so popular and thats not what you want and your nails are short – definitely do light lavendar. So pretty. I say def not coloured tips, not bridal enough. Good luck!

I love french tips. I used to get them all the time but stopped…I plan to get them for my wedding as well.

I love French manicures and do them myself for most of the year. You don’t need long nails to do one, and you don’t need to have actual tips or overlays applied for a French manicure to look great. Below is a pic that shows my French manicure from my wedding (my manicurist did this one for me, since I wanted it to be as close to perfect as possible), and it was all done ONLY with nail polish. Even when some of my nails are short, this still works, because you can “fake it” by painting the white farther down the nail toward your hand to give the illusion that your nails are longer than they actually are.
