hunnybunny17 :  At first I was debating between french or nude just like you, but then I saw another bride on here with really dark red nails, which I love with my sapphire e-ring anyways, so I decided to go for it! My manicurist and bridesmaids were surprised haha but I love the contrast, especially as my bouquet had cream/white/blush flowers.

Red nails here. Same color as my shoes. 😊 Initially I was going to keep it simple with Classic French.

Neutral colors for sure! French is blah now unless its a subtle ombre French which if done correctly is very elegant.

I hate neutral/nude polish on my nails. I’ve never found a color that goes with my skintone. I tried lots leading up to my wedding day but was unhappy so I decide to wear my favorite color…a classic red with blue undertones.

I’m happy I did and I particularly loved that it went with my red roses and having my red painted toenails peeking out from under my dress!

Tbh French manicures need to be done right to look good and most of the time it looks very bad or has been done poorly. I don’t love the ombre ones either…. You are better picking a solid color/neutral.

hunnybunny17 :  I did light pink. I feel like French is dated – feels very early 00s at this point.

I haven’t decided yet what I’m going to wear but I know for sure that I don’t want a french manicure. I never liked it.   I really love lilacs ,violets, purples… but I’m already wearing my shoes, my bouquet, and my eyes in that colours, maybe it’s time to stop and go for something neutral for the nails. Maybe a nice pink?

I’m considering navy to pull the groomsmen and bridesmaids looks into my own, but I’m not 100% sure yet. I may end up with a dark mauve to match my bouquet

I hate french, it always looks so tacky imo. I prefer muted natural colors or reds instead.

I hate French nails as well. I’m doing a light pink like this pic.
