I’ve been searching for wedding night lingerie and I’m having a hard time finding anything I really love. I’m considering some stuff from BHLDN, but haven’t decided for sure yet. Fiance is very into me being in lingerie and it’s a regular thing, but I want this to be special.
Any suggestions of places to look online (other than Victoria’s Secret or Fredericks)?

I highly recommend looking on Etsy, I have found a lot of gorgeous lingerie designers on there, the only downside being they can get fairly expensive!! Here are a few of my faves:

@elysion: I buy a ton of stuff on Etsy and have never thought to look at lingerie!

i don’t know what your budget is but http://www.trashy.com has some good stuff. it’s not actually trashy stuff so the name doesn’t fit what they’re selling. they’re pretty pricey though.

@caits615: What is BHLDN? What type of bridal lingerie are you looking for? Corsets, stockings, garters, costumes, teddies, bikini? A friend recommended trashy.com lingerie to me several years ago. It’s not anything like it sounds but they have some items that are more risque than others. I ordered a few things from them at that time. That was about 8 years ago. They have decent quality items. Some of their things are cheap and some not so cheap, depends on what you’re looking for. Here is the bridal bargain section. http://www.trashy.com/Bridal-Bargains-bycatalog.htm

@greenidlady: BHLDN is Anthropologie’s wedding line. They have some gorgeous stuff. I’m thinking of doing a garter, stockings, panties, bra for the wedding night. And then something else bridal for the night after- simply because we may be exhausted the night of and he may not remember it!
I checked Trashy out and there’s some cute stuff- thanks y’all!

Hi ladies! 🙂 I highly recommend Mary Green: marygreen.com
Much of her stuff is pure silk. It feels lovely on – very luxurious. She has a special bridal section as well. It’s not for those who like a lot of bells and whistles – most bras have no underwires, etc. – but it has a very elegant feel. I don’t have anything bridal yet – planning to order something soon for the wedding night, even though I anticipate falling asleep pretty darn quickly! – but I have a couple of boyshort and camisole sets. I’m going to purchase a friend some items for her upcoming bridal shower.
If you sign up for the email list, there are discounts and deals all the time! Often 35% off, which makes a big difference.

@caits615: I got my teddy at Trivium (small chain, it might not be near you) and the perfect matching G-string at Wal-Mart. Don’t be afraid to buy pieces at different places to mix and match. I wanted red leopard print and black and I looked everywhere to find them. I had made a deal with Darling Husband that when I wore red leopard print it meant that I was green lighting sex.

I just wore my bachelorette party gifts, a gorgeous black and white sequined bra and panty set from Victoria’s Secret and a silky white robe.
